Reno is the ultimate home base for exploring nearby towns, states, and destinations far beyond the Biggest Little City. You’ve got historic Virginia City and Carson Valley close by, Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada practically in your backyard, and California’s Gold Country, coast, and major attractions within road trip distance. And if you’re willing to put some miles on the odometer, you can make your way to places like Disneyland and LEGOLAND California, explore Oregon and Utah, or head off on an even bigger adventure.
I've always been an adventurer at heart, always answering the call of my curiosity and going wherever the wind takes me. I'm not hard to please, but I am particular about the places I choose to write about. The destinations you'll find here are places that are near and dear to my heart - places I've visited, enjoyed, and genuinely think are worth sharing. Whether it's a little town you stumble upon along the way, a family favorite you'll want to return to, or a destination that makes you say, “How did I not know about this place?”At the end of the day, I truly want people to enjoy themselves, make memories, and live a life that feels full.
